Racine is on flood watch as the Root River swells, pushing water levels high enough that the city has shut down part of Domanik Drive in Lincoln Park and started sending out sandbags. Officials say neighborhoods along the river are at risk and are urging residents to steer clear of low-lying areas and stay out of standing water while crews keep a close eye on conditions.

The Journal Sentinel provided severe weather updates as tornado warnings impacted much of southeast Wisconsin on April 17, before making way for widespread flooding.

All of Wisconsin is under the threat of severe weather Monday afternoon and evening. A tornado watch has been issued for Dodge, Fond du Lac, Washington, Ozaukee, and Sheboygan Counties until 10 p.m.

Tornado warnings in parts of southern Wisconsin expired Thursday evening, April 2, as severe storms moved through the region.

Friday's severe storms have passed. However, plenty of damage remains across southeastern Wisconsin as of Saturday morning, in addition to the ongoing flooding threat.

Strong winds in Racine County knocked down trees and damaged homes, with cleanup underway in Waterford as residents rush to secure properties before more storms arrive.
