Christian McCaffrey deserves consideration for an award other than Comeback Player of the Year as he's setting record and helping the 49ers win games.

McCaffrey currently has 1,039 rushing yards and 849 receiving yards this season. That puts him in range to record just the fourth season of 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in NFL history.

And so he's pushing toward a second 1,000/1,000 season, something that has never been done in the history of the NFL. McCaffrey is already in the club, along with Roger Craig and Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk,
