When the Coach Doesn't Play Your Kid

The hardest part of coaching your own kid isn’t at practice. It’s at home. While other kids get to leave Coach and go back to mom and dad, the coach’s kid goes home with Coach and has to process their emotions in the same house as the person who might have caused those feelings. But with every possible problem comes a chance to learn, grow, and strengthen the relationship if you’re willing to put in as much work relationally as you are athletically. #youthsports #sportsparents #parenting #youthc
